Ridgefield Farm and Orchard shared Potluck's event.
**I know this is an unusual post from Ridgefield Farm, but I think it's important. Please Read**
This election was unbelievably frustrating. For a lot of reasons, but especially because of the bitter divide between the two sides. And social media didn't help. Most of us have friends on both sides, but throughout the election the posts people saw only reinforced their own views.
For the last three weeks I've been working with a team to build Still One Nation, because I wanted to do something about it. We've created a video-chat event this upcoming Thursday. It's the first event of its kind.
The goal is to connect small groups of people from all over the country, with different political views for honest, real conversations about their ideas, hopes and worries stemming from the election.
I need your help to make it happen because I'm worried this post won't reach both sides.
Having honest conversations with people from different walks of life can only make our convictions, and our democracy as a whole, stronger.
*** If this resonates, please share this event. I really need your help reaching people outside of my bubble. Especially with Facebook's algorithm!
